Empowering Women Through Vocational Skills on International Women’s Day
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, the Ogbemudia Bassey Osagie Leadership and Empowerment Foundation is taking a bold step toward women’s empowerment by offering free vocational skills training. This initiative is designed to equip women with essential skills that can foster financial independence and create opportunities for personal and professional growth.
The training covers three key areas:
✅ Makeup Artistry – Helping women explore the beauty industry and build a career in makeup.
✅ Pastry Making – Teaching participants how to bake and turn their passion for pastries into a business.
✅ Soap Making – Providing knowledge on creating homemade soaps for personal use or entrepreneurship.
The event is set to take place on 8th March 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Youths Centre, St. Paul Catholic Church, Airport Road, Benin City.
At OBO Foundation, we believe that empowering women with practical skills is a powerful tool for community transformation. By equipping women with the right knowledge, we are fostering self-reliance, economic growth, and gender equality.
